Matt Smith IS the Doctor!

This is an excellent choice. He's young, attractive, charismatic and has the right sense of eccentricity for the role.

Calm down. I was merely commenting on his visual presence on screen.

  3. I see that some people on the DWF are moaning that Matt is too young for the role. I disagree. Already just in that brief interview he displayed the charisma and style needed for the role.

  4. What's next, a foetus at the 12th Doctor?

    Tsk!

  5. "What's next, a foetus at the 12th Doctor?"

Casting a foetus would not be wise as it would be unable to act convincingly due to still being unborn.

  6. David Tennant and Steve Moffat note that the new Doctor's (apparent) youth will be a big part of his story arc. Like the Fifth Doctor, Smith's incarnation is not the one that the Doctor himself would want to end up resembling. It's all down to those ten years he gave up in ROTC...

And, Spara, you don't just sound like you fancy him, you sound like you were physically arousing yourself at his description.

    Grow up.

  7. On OG you promised to eat your socks if it wasn't Patterson Joseph. You better not have been lying, you chav. EAT!

  8. "And, Spara, you don't just sound like you fancy him, you sound like you were physically arousing yourself at his description."

This is a rather crude assertion.

I must admit that I'm very surprised that it wasn't. Paterson must be gutted. Maybe they were going to offer it to him but made a last minute alternate decision after seeing Matt's audition.

  10. That doesn't change the fact you swore you would eat your socks.

You going back on your word now?

    Is that it?

You going back on your word now?"

All the evidence pointed towards Paterson Joseph. I was going on the evidence to hand.

  12. But on DWF your worried that his casting is a sign that the show is dumbing down?

  13. Sparacus, you promised you would eat your socks. Why did you do that if you weren't prepared to do so? Are you a liar?

"If Patterson Joseph isn't the 11th Doctor I'll eat my socks."

    He isn't.

Now either you eat your socks or remove "setting the standards and telling it like it is" from you blog banner. Someone who dismisses their own promises is NOT keeping to standards OR telling it like it is. Why should anyone trust your opinion when you clearly lie to the public over your sock consumption.

Eat your socks or be dubbed a cowardly liar for the rest of your days. Your choice.

  14. "But on DWF your worried that his casting is a sign that the show is dumbing down?"

I raise this as a general concern. However I remain quite optimistic about his potential.

I would be unable to digest the socks.

  16. if sparacus eats his socks, and posts evidence, I'll post a nude picture of myself on here*

*I reserve the right to refuse to do this, as at the time spara was trying to weasel out of eating his socks, so why should I stick to my promise?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Then why did you promise to, you liar?!

  18. Promising to eat my socks was a rhetorical remark.

  19. So you were lying.

And you still haven't posted my clarification about Bernie.
