Scheduling things on Halloween is a waste of time since everyone's out trick or treating. You yourself have Ben Chatham watching a DVD of the Exorcist rather than tuning into broadcast TV.
Besides, Waters of Mars is SET in November. Not October. Therefore it would be full of references to it NOT being in Halloween.
"Obviously"?
Stop drinking before you post, Spara, it makes you look stupider than usual.
Not to mention that there's been plenty of publicity. You've got David Tennant doing every talk-show and colour supplement under the sun, radio, not to mention the actual trailers themselves they're pimping. The Radio Times and TV Times are probably gonna have the covers. I'm sorry that your dream trailer of Ben Chatham introducing the story did not come off as planned. Actually, I'm not sorry.
By the way, isn't your banner rather inaccurate. WHEN, prey tell, have anyone discussed Doctor Who here? How can it be a discussion when we cannot post freely - even IF you allow us to put down our opinions, it's days or weeks before they appear. Does that strike you as discussion? I seem to be the only person here.
It's also NOT the home of Ben Chatham stories as you barely post them here, unlike the Sparachivium Universum.
I think you should remedy this - allow free posting and actually blog about Chatham, or else get rid of the banner. It's false advertising.
Free posting doesn't work, it leads to abuse and rows. Nonsense.
I myself use SIX blogs, and the worst I've got is spam bots occasionally offering viagra.
This moderation merely gives the impression you don't want to know what your readers think. See how you have ignored Miles' valid points about publicity and my question about Halloween. All of it reinforces the idea you refuse to acknowledge other opinions, begging the question of why you want comments AT ALL.
In any case, my point that this is not a place for DW discussion since no one can discuss it still stands.
