Paterson Joseph is the 11th Doctor.... possibly

According to internet rumours that are getting more & more numerous. I saw him in 'Survivors' last night and he was not bad at all. However (and I also felt this about Christopher Eccleston) I fear he may not be eccentric enough to convince as the Doctor. Time will tell.

Wow Spara, you're quick.

This guy was only touted for the role of the Doctor about a month ago...

You bitch about DT for four years for being too comical and eccentric and lacking gravitas.

And now you bitch about PJ not being eccentric enough.

Have you WATCHED Jekyll?!

My point is that DT was too immature at times. However PJ is just too ordinary like Eccleston. The Doctor should be more dandyish like Jon Pertwee.

Grow up. It's not the early 1970s, there are nine other interpretations of the role, and you have absolutely no say in it either way.

If you're worried Paterson Joseph might not be eccentric enough, you need to watch Neverwhere. From his first startling appearance, he absolutely steals the show.

You can probably find a few clips on YouTube...

Moffat will want to consider the views of fandom.
